More and more I'm beginning to love Texas. Why does it have to be so damn hot down there, and why do I need to learn Spanish to move there?

You don't have to learn Spanish. The main language spoken there is "Texan", it's a distinct dialect of English and can be almost unintelligible to "foreigners".

Texas is a great place, they take their guns, their women, their BBQ, and their beer very seriously. Yes, it's DAMNED hot down there in the summer (which starts in February!) but that's what the beer is for!
