There is a gun show this weekend at Stout Field. Last one was a busy place. I just try to remind everyone. I pay to get in just like everyone else. Going to take a look around, like I need anything else.

Anybody have any Intel on today? My super-secret source (quoting his super-secret source) said their was a HUGE line and 9mm FMJ was outrageous.

    Yes on both.

Like I said in a different post. There was one vendor selling reloaded 9mm in ziploc bags for $1/round.

Fun to look around. But prices on everything are pretty high.

From what I've heard, it sounded kind of like the last show. Decent supply of older guns, but high prices. I don't think ammo and reloading supplies had gone full crazy at the last show though.

In the dictionary, under the word outrageous, you will find this.

I went today and had a good time. I didn’t really buy anything but there was at least some decent stuff to look at. It was just mostly more than I
wanted to spend. I haven’t seen that many Milsurps at a local show in a long time.

Does anyone know if people are selling face-to-face private sales ? I remember in years past that at the 1500 people walked around with signs selling guns.

It was a very nice show.
Getting to know several of the vendors that have some of the same interests as I have. The wife found a Colt Detective Special w/bobed hammer that is DAO, she decided I should purchase for her. I also found some 7.65x53 Argentine brass very reasonable for a project that is coming together.
It has been a good day!

whats the cost to get in these days?
This show was last weekend. But $5. Some other shows run $6. Bargain for people watching alone. Not to mention the complementary crop dusting. I used to be a hardened factory worker in a previous life and a guy at Stout Field dropped the bomb on me. That thing had some hang time.
