SouthNarc is a great instructor who makes his students perform tactics and techniques against resisting attackers. Having been a participant, it's worth all the bruises.

Too many companies say they train for the fight. For most it's just a marketing gimmick.

Once again, sorry for the long absence. When you’re running back and forth across 10 time zones and trying to get guys out of harms way, it kind of takes up a significant portion of time.

This type of realism is the level you have to train at to develop and acquire skill sets that will stand up under a real resistive opponent. It’s not to say this is the only way to train, but it is the only way I know of to train at the high level required. In truth, it looks much worse from the outside than it feels during the evolution (ok, probably not that much worse, but you get the idea)
