Got my 3rd Spyderco today. Traded my ZT 0551 for this smurf skinner and a little cash. Initial impressions are very good, it is a nice light weight knife and still feels very solid. It is also probably the sharpest factory edge I have ever seen. Only problem I have with it so far is the spiderhole and that is just because I am used to thumb studs and flippers so I fairly sure that is only a temporary problem. At any rate here are a couple pics!:rockwoot:

great little knife. I love the paramilitary but have never liked the reverse liner lock set up on them. I wish they would come out with a frame lock version :)

congrats on the new blade, it's a sexy thing for sure

try the zip tie trick if you like a thumbstud, it works great

ive got 3 spyderco's a new tenacious,2 enduras, a plain edge endura and a old(i mean so old it had a plastic clip molded in the handle untill it broke off old, with a full spyder edge)

the tenacious in daily rotation, along with a crkt m16sfg,a gerber covert, and a esse izula and i carry the plain edge endura in my backpack in case i walk out the house without a knife(i feel naked without a knife cliped to my pocket)

my next might be the manix2 saw one of those at the last gunshow for 80.00 really liked that one, i would have bought that one instead of the tenacious, but cash was a little tight that week

Honestly the lock is what has kept me from getting a PM2 for so long. I am a big fan of frame locks and lock-backs but after a little research on the compression lock I feel much more confident about it then most liner locks.

I don't have a problem with it as in not trusting it but I am just a so use to the others that's what I prefer. I agree it's a very strong lock set up for sure.

Very nice. I've been thinking of picking up one of the sprint runs in CTS-XHP or M390. Have to buy a Manix in M4 first though.
Those blue scales are pretty sexy .
