I saw that on the cover of one of the gun mags. a few weeks ago....

I'll just say this.... "A Sigma looks a lot like a Glock...."

    Nuff said?

I thought all of the gun rags got paid basically for writing postive reviews on all guns they review.

The only they are good for is as something to read while on the Throne if you know what I mean.

This design has been around a long time. The pistol being marketed by EAA as the "Zastava EZ9" is known outside the US as the CZ05, and is simply the latest version of the CZ99, which dates back to the early 1990s. Variations have been license-produced by Tressitu in South Africa (known as the TZ99) and IMI in Israel (known as the "Golan"), and both of these were imported in small numbers back in the day.

    Here's a detailed review of the TZ99 from Cruffler.com, circa 2001:

I have one from the 90's, CZ99. Nice shooter, reliable, accurate, ambi controls are a big plus, a little chubbier than its SIG counterpart. I got it in a trade at the 1500 in '97 and it came with 6 hi-cap mags & NS.

The thing is that SIG has had the design since the late 70's.

I didn't give that bit of history to refute the idea that the Zastava is a SIG knockoff (it totally is); I did it to show that that the Zastava is not a "new" design, as some might have believed due to the recent press coverage.

i will take my SIG over that

I would, too, and I don't even like SIGs! :lmfao:
