    Hoisted by his own petard.

What was his screen name on which gun forum?

How many "can I booby trap my guns?" threads have we had on INGO?

Reminds me of the guys I went to high school that were always talking about wanting to spring gunning their cars. Yeah, Jasper, because every car theif wants a '74 Nova.

I have no problem with bobby trapping my stuff, but there should be some requirements.
    1. It should not be deadly, it can be painful, but it shouldn't kill you.
    2. It should not be triggered by something you commonly do, like opening your gun safe.
    3. It should not rely on something "never happening" to not go off on it's own. Like rigging a cell phone to a bomb because "no one knows that number"

You KNOW for a fact that he heard something click, or felt something tighten and he knew just the instant before that he had f'd up!

Kinda like right after you say "I DO"!!!
