I have no problem with bobby trapping my stuff, but there should be some requirements.
1. It should not be deadly, it can be painful, but it shouldn't kill you.
2. It should not be triggered by something you commonly do, like opening your gun safe.
3. It should not rely on something "never happening" to not go off on it's own. Like rigging a cell phone to a bomb because "no one knows that number"

it already has been...kinda. a guy booby trapped his whole house. i dont remember all the details but the guy fell asleep or something and when he woke up he set off a trap and it shot him.
