Rossi 92 large lever fitting.

Hello everyone, I recently/finally found a large loop lever for my rossi. I've almost got it fitted but figured I'd ask if anyone else has had to fit one? Really just wanting to know if anyone knew which spot needs to have material removed the most. To me it seems to be the slot for the locking lugs pin. Wanting to ask everyone also cause I don't want to make any errors. The levers are to expensive to do that...
