Once again, the republicans and some of their dem buddies are getting together to try and force ISP's to keep records of what you're doing and where you're going on the web. This time they've got the sheriff's associaciation backing their play. They always want more. Hopefully, this travesty will go down in flames, as previous bills have. It is interesting to note who cries the loudest that it's a must have thing, tho.

mrjarrel, mrjarrel, mrjarrel... it states in the story this is for child porn. Surely you care about our children.

Why do I have a feeling that the MPAA, RIAA and similar groups are helping to fund this attempt to protect our children?

As long as a publicly viewable log of EVERY Internet transaction made by everybody in government and law enforcement is made available to us as part of this new law...

They can't do that, as I recall any time they take a look at what some of these federal employees are up to it is always staring at pr0n all day, taking business related cruises, hocking laptops they steal, etc. Imagine if we got the logs of all their internet activity.

The ISPs already said this would take billions of dollars. You know they are not going to do this because their pets will shut it down so fast.

What is really funny is that people will just use proxy services. Have fun tracking that down just to figure out I am looking at boobs. Just Saying.......

What I think a lot of the time, people that purpose this kind of stupid stuff. Fail to realize is that things change constantly. If they put this in place it will not be long before there is a way around it.

I wonder how I survived my childhood when I look at all the laws that were passed in the last two decades?!?!? I go back to what I have said many times, that since life causes death, the only way to truly protect the children would be to ban life! If nobody else is born, then one day nobody will die by looking at porn on the internet.

    I'm so confused...
