And yeah, I got the "if I see" lecture as a grown a** man by a cop who was clueless about IN gun law. I posted about it here at the time.

TL;DR he confiscated my sidearm during a traffic stop for speeding in a construction zone by name only*($1,000 fine) , held me for 30 mins because dispatch wasnt connected to ISP's computer and ISP wouldnt answer the phone to confirm my LTCH validity. He flagged my head with my loaded pistol as he took a photo of the serial to prove I had it and said "Im going to let you go. If I find out the address on this LTCH doesnt match your real address, I'm coming to your house to arrest you for unlawful possession." LOLWUT?
I was smart enough just to say "yes sir" and neither laugh at his ignorance nor challenge it on the side of the road.

*the only reason it was a construction zone is because the barricade company hadnt come back to collect the signs and barrels by the side of the road. construction was complete and there wasnt even machinery, let alone workers to hit.
