Address Gun Violence in Cities: Obama and Biden would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent.

Anyone who thinks the democrats aren't going to go after private firearm ownership in this country is either incredibly stupid or dellusional. Every single one of the people in this socialist crew have rabid anti-gun histories. There are already bills submitted to license gun owners, reduce gun owner's rights, etc. They are going after them incrementally, attaching children's names to the bills, weeping and wailing all the time. It's time to start looking for good places to conceal firearms and ammunition until the pendulum swings the other way. Under no circumstances will I submit to an illegal search of my home, nor will I surrender any firearm. I will not get any kind of permit to own a firearm and I will actively work against any and all efforts to curtail firearm ownership. We are coming down to it. Sooner or later, something has to give. We are living in a nation where winning the majority of the states and land mass means nothing. Our leaders are being chosen by the hand out crowd living in the congested cities. They are afraid of their own shadows and looking for the next free meal. We can either choose to knuckle under, which I will never do, or determine our own fate.
