I got lucky and was able to get an International Harvester M1 from the CMP. Here she is...

    Service Grade IHC. MW-1 TE-2

    LMR barrel dated 7-53.

SA trigger group with HRA safety and IHC hammer.

    IHC op rod.

    Misc. IHC parts.

    Looking into the bore.

    Non serif/non circle proof P.

    Ink stamp.

With cut UF&H M1905 bayonet, also from CMP.

    With the family.
L to R, SAI M1A in USGI M-14 stock, 5.7 mil Springfield M-1 with M-5 bayonet, 5.4 mil HRA M-1 with Greek M-1 bayonet, and the IHC.

All three Garands are CMP guns.

Congrads....looks like you did outstanding. Quite possiblly a LEAD rebuild which are desired in the 'rebuild collectors' niche. Are there any markings on the receiver legs? Be careful when cleaning to not do anything to cause that painted triangle to fade! Are there any numbers stamped inside the channel of the stock? The chamber is 'in the white' and the barrel is a genuine IHC LMR. Some folks have been getting LMR barrels peened like they were originally installed on an HRA rifle.

    Congratulations!

That rife is in remarkable condition! I'm impressed with the number of IHC marked parts. And @ MW-1 TE-2, one could speculate it got rebuilt and sent off to storage.

    Good for you Kedie!

I saw the triangle stamp and thought LEAD rebuild, however there are no markings on the receiver legs. No other markings or cartouches on the stock other than the stamp and P. I'm already in the process of cleaning up the stock a little. Avoiding that stamp like the plague! This IHC will pair well with my HRA as it has an LMR barrel also. And, yes, I will be getting a Winchester.

I have a 4.5 from the DCM, a 4.6 gap letter, and a 5.0 from the CMP. They are all RRAD rebuilds with marking on the receiver leg.
