New Airsoft pistol turns into a dud

Hey guys,

Just bought a replica P226 gas blow back airsoft pistol in lieu of ACT training this weekend. The gun looks and feels great, very heavy and realistic. The problem is I get about 3 rounds thru it, then I have to refill it. I don't think the gun is working properly, so I plan to return this immediately. If you guys know why this gun isn't working well, I would appreciate your help!!!

Are you shooting outside? The cold affects the gas. Try keeping the mags warm and see if that helps. The other possible explanation how are you filling your mags? The nozzle of the bottle should be pointed down. If you are doing both of those then I am out of ideas.

I needed to fill it upside down! It works. Dang thing didn't come with instructions! I was inside BTW. for the help Doug.

Mine didn't either. Had to find a youtube video on how to put gas in and the b-b's too. Enjoy your new airsoft.

now I feel like a dud. This gun shoots like a champ now! Might be time to practice some plinking!
