    Very nice!

I do not have much experience with knives. Would you want to disclose the value of a piece like that?

Nice Knife! Like to start my own collection. And that one would definatly be on my list! And correct me If I'm wrong but weren't those more of the type for Comandos or what ever speacial forces were called in those days and not for the everyday soldier? My dad Had a Japanese bayonet that some how got lost right before he moved to FL. Sure wish I had that!

My new one next to my previously owned 3rd pattern British Commando, I also picked up an original 1942 dated copy of "Get Tough!" which was the hand to hand knife combat training manual used by US and British special operations soilders.

Thanks for posting those great side by side pictures.

I admit I have strong cravings to polish that brass handle. I know it is wrong but I am like that with brass!

I bought my first Rex Frainbain Fighting Knife. It is the one with a Beigh handle and sheath. It is very sharp and great engraving. The handle has a number on it. I think that it is one of 1000. Really sharp.
I also have 2 benchmade's. 1 is the blue box and it is listed as pre-production 2000 and is 1 of 1000. The other is First production and listed as 1 of 1000. Have both receipts and what they paid for them new. They were 75.00 (approx).
    Nice looking knives.

I also have a knife that is made in Spain. He is like the Rex Fairbain but is different color. If someone might know more about it, I can get it and write down more info.
It says the company is something like Muley?
    Thanks
