    I have a CVA .45 muzzle loading pistol i built from a kit. I haven't fired it yet but I hope I get a chance to soon.

    i've got two cap&ball CVA kit builds my grandfather left me when he passed. i've never shot them. this sounds like the beginnings of an INGO event!

    For kits check out Dixie gun works. I bought a Hawkin pistol kit but have not assembled. It is made in waldron in. If you have a build party check into Mike Miller,rifle maker, met him at spring shoot in Friendship great guy.

    They are alot of fun and alot of work. Just take cleaning a muzzleloader times 5 or 6. I have taken one hunting as a back up during muzzleloader but never had the close range encounter to use it.
