A young turkey hunter (15 yrs old) from our church found out today what happens when you shoot a shotgun that has a cross threaded choke tube installed. He didn't banana the end but it has a substantial bulge in the end right at the choke. I'm gonna cut off the last 1 1/2" or so square it up and re-install the bead for him. It may be alright for turkeys ( have to pattern it again) but I'm still wanting to cast around a bit and see if I can track down a used barrel for him.
