    Restonlane: please understand that the ones CAI sells are not original snipers. Although they are nice rifles, you would have to pay quite a bit more for an original. Having said this, I highly recommend them to someone looking for a nice Mosin to shoot that is configured like a WWII sniper rifle.

    R-guns is supposed to be selling "authentic" snipers for $800. Personally, I am staying away from the snipers due to how easy it is to fake them and the price associated with them.

    Yes you are correct. The Rguns ones are verifiably authentic. The price though is pretty intimidating. If you know what to look for on the snipers, it isn't too tough to determine what is real and what isn't. It has taken me a lot of reading over on Gunboards but I am getting better.
