If you know your S&Ws I'd love to hear your thoughts on the one in the middle - it's a double digit serial (note the indentations). My grandparents used to carry it in their antique store pre-depression.

The other revolver has a 2" barrel which is also on the rare side as I understand it.

For some reason, I really like the top break revolvers. I have my great grandmothers black powder Iver and Johnson that she kept under her pillow down on the border. I have had it since I was a little kid. Not worth much of anything but except for sentimental value.

I don't know much about the value of S&W revolvers but here is a pic of my great grandmothers gun.

thanks for posting the pic. I could look at old sentimental guns all day. Along the same lines it makes me wonder about the military surplus guns and the stories they could tell.

I'm looking at the Standard Catalog of S&Ws for my info.

The one on the right is a 2nd Model .32 Safety Hammerless. The 2" version is referred to as the "Bicycle Gun."

I'm going to spring for the $50 for info on each revolver. I'll keep everyone posted on what they say.
