I got one of these last year. Thing will hit a quarter virtually everytime at 50 yards. CCI Blazer solid lead is better than the bulk cphp federal/win for plinking. The CCI Minimags cphp are great for squirrels.

A Leapers airgun scope 4x AO or 3-9x AO is great on this gun.

My xmas wish list is 17 hmr.... :)

I bought a 795 last year at Dick's with the rebate. I wanted to add a light weight 22LR to my black rifle collection, and did not want to spend the big bucks for an AR look-alike. It is a great gun, and seriously does shoot quarter size groups @ 50 yds. Outshoots my other Marlins I purchased back in the 1980s, a Model 60 and a 25.
