Thanks, the barrel has some rust but it's not bad at all. Judging by the serial number it's from 1972. 14 years before the creation of me!

Picked it up from cabelas. My dad got a mint win 94 for $500 and a new henry big boy brass receiver in .44mag.

Haha I almost bought that exact gun yesterday morning. I picked it up and saw the price tag and was a little shocked. It did have a little rust but not too bad. I already have a 336 so I decided to pass
