This is a post-Remington buyout gun made with true marlin parts. It is not JM stamped but the receiver is not laser etched and it is a 91xxxxx serial number. The 91 indicates the receiver was made in 2009, the year prior to the buyout. Fit and finish are smooth and the action is great. 1" groups at 100 yards with no cycling issues what so ever. Has a cantilever mount if you wish to use a scope.
