I am debating on buying one of these, the base model which is regularly $499+tax. I can get it for $399+ tax.
No brainer? or no big deal?

I'm curious, although looks like you are out of my area, who has them for $399 and which exact model is it? There are a few different models of these.

    Thanks in advance.

It is the basic model, does not have a threaded barrel to my knowledge. I have a coupon via cabelas for $100 off $500. (on anything).

Go for it! I love mine. Fun and cheap. You can't beat that.

Great little gun, $400 seems to be a fair deal on them. I put ~3,000 rounds through mine in the first year and only had an issue with two clips of remington ammo (it feeds EVERYTHING ELSE perfectly) I will advise
you to keep it extremely clean, and always wear hearing and eye protection...just ask me why....(I'll give you a hint...mine is currently in the shop with a blown out extractor and firing pin...)
