Just got through trading for this gun and I feel I got a very good deal. $450 trade value with a Barska 6-24x50 IR excavator. Excited to get out and waste some money shooting it. Anyone have much experience with this gun and/or scope?? Also I have the wooden stock on it. Should I consider getting a polymer stock or something else?

I would shoot it first and see how you like the recoil. The scope should be on your short list of upgrades. Buy once cry once. Plan on spending some $$$ on the glass. First upgrade... A Decelerator recoil Pad. Well worth the money on heavy recoiling calibers.
