Just to make sure the GPS tracker is charged, can have the cpu of the gun's on board module approve the firing command, thus is not charged does not work. Also one could have it call in for approval for each shot fired, before firing. The GPS function, on board maps and clock would only allow firing at approved ranges or hunting areas during hunting hours ... or after getting approval following the 911 call and the review of the gun camera video by the DA, in an emergency could get rapid approval of less than three business days.

Sounds like a great idea ... NOT!

Just tape your iPhone to your gun, and you're good to go!

Seriously, I just hate the thought of the government wanting to get in the game of tracking my gun. I just want to leave my plastic gun as it is, and where only I know where it's at (as it's only my responsibility).
