Info on Citadel 1911

I am looking at a Citadel 1911 made by Armscor in the Philippines, I think. Has anyone had one or know anything about them? Would it be worth getting? Please give your if you would. Thanks in advance.

I don't have a Citadel, but Armscor made my Rock Island 1911 and it's a nice "budget" 1911 that shoots straight and has very good fit and finish. If the Citadel is priced like the Rock Island pistols are I'd say it would worth the money.

My assumption here is that Armscor basically makes the same pistol and just stamps whatever logo on the slide.

I recently bought the 3 1/2" compact Citadel. I like it very much indeed! It feeds and ejects flawlessly with several ammo types used so far. Points and shoots like a 1911. It's a nifty piece of kit for it's size.

Dont own one, however I have searched and read several reviews online.
Everyone agrees that the Citadel 1911 is a great firearm. Havent heard anything bad on them.

I have handled one..not fired...fit and finish seemed good...nice tight lock up.
