Idenitfy this Amadeo Rossi 357 Mag

Buddy just picked one up.

No model number markings, serial # is K106xxx Says amadeo rossi s.a. - made in brazil behind the hammer, and 38 spl 357 mag behind the front site.

looks like a model 92? no emblems, safety, etc.

he's curios as to what year/quality/market value, etc...


Rossi's serial # search didn't turn anything up

It is a Rossi copy 1892 Winchester. As far as date I can't tell for sure but Taurus bought out Rossi in 1997 so it should have been pre 1997. Take a bit of time and work that lever over and over and over helps smooth them out. Then again the 92
action is fairly smooth to begin with.
