ive been doin alota research browseing google and youtube
so i kinda got the jist on how its done and how to skin one

but i reckon its time i become someones student
to learn the tips and tricks and actually experiance the hunt from someone who knows what theyre doin

ive read that my SKS would be plenty to stop a yote and right now my current project is turning my 'tacticool' SKS into her reborn self Yote Slayer

I did a lot of coyote hunting back in MA but would love to do some here with the big open areas. Anyone have any luck just knocking on doors and asking land owners?

If William Casey was still alive, he'd be laughing at this post, he always told us just aim and pull the trigger, worked every time.

Coyote season comes in around October 15. The hunting threads will pick up on multiple web sights then. Check out Midwest Predator Hunters - Home or The NPHA for some die hard coyote hunters

According to the DNR "Landowners, or a person with written permission from a landowner, may take coyotes year-round on private property by snaring, trapping or shooting without a permit from the DNR. "

I too am looking forward to hunting these in the future. Do you mean that is when most people hunt them?
