    Hi,

I have been considering trying to load some 115-125gr pistol bullets in 350 Legend Hodgdon has some load data for 115s in the 2700-2800 Range and 125s in the mid 2500-2600.
I am wondering if anyone has tried catching any expanding bullets in ballistic gel or even water curious to the extent of explosion or if any can hold together a little. I am considering trying V-Crowns, Gold Dots and Barnes Tac-XP.. maybe the Barnes XPD Pistol 140gr.

I dont have a Legend, but if I did, I would start with 357 Sig bullets. I would guess you would get better results.
When my sons were little, during BP deer I would load sabots up with light weight jacketed pistol bullets and thats what they hunted with. We had 185 grain 45acp HP's bullets pushed well past 2,000 fps.
Have fun doing it, pics and post your results please.
