I have an old Herter's Mod 0-3 Super single stage press the holders are caliber specific and use set screws to hold in place. The one that's in it works for 30-06 and the priming arm works for it. I'd really like to find the shell holders for 44mag/45 colt, 38 special, 30/30, 45/70. I have an adapter to modern holders but the primer arm comes up to short. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Have a couple used Herters shellholders #7,8,9 15 and 26
Also have the RCBS adapters new.

IMHO run the adapters and go w a hand prime.

Only time I run a press primer....is on a turret press where I can quickly swap to a Lee ram prime (leave one turret hole set up for that).

I do have some aluminum little C frame and the Lyman Acculine, either might be worth using as a stand alone priming station. Haven't built a new bench at new house, not gonna add a smaller press along side my Mag T. Hand prime or Ram prime for me (have a Sinclair hand prime- haven't tried it yet).

Run Lee collet die set in .243 and Lyman reg in .44 mag, so 5 of the turret holes for those, the leftover for the Ram prime.
