Just finished this slide. It will be a 40 cal 1911.

Thats amazing! I don't think i'd chrome it, I like the matte look of the slide. What would something like that run? Not nessicarily to convert to another cal, but just some customization.

That's a tough one, you would need to be a little more specific for me to answer.

    The parts list for this:

    STI slide
    Aftec extractor
EGW OS firing pin stop, firing pin
    SVI rear Bomar
    Dawson front sight
    STI 40 cal ramped barrel
    EGW OS ejector
    EGW barrel bushing
    Full length guide rod
    SV mag catch

    Labor:

    Slide to frame fit
    Barrel Fit
    Re-cut barrel ramp for reliability
    Fit FP stop
    Fit Aftec Extractor
    Fit barrel bushing
Mill work on slide (cut for bomar dovetail, FS dovetail, custom serrations etc...)

    You do good work!
The angles on top intrigue me, but for the fact that (if it's like Sig) they wouldn't fit a standard holster without putting up a fuss. Looks neat, though.
I could do without the Nike swoosh, but to each their own. :D
    Overall :yesway:

Hmmm......you shouldn't have any problems with holsters as I start with a standard bald 1911 slide and then cut from there. All my carry guns are tri-topped or at least flat topped and fit nicely in all my Milt Sparks holsters. My competition 1911 works well with the Blade Tech kydex holster too. :dunno:

Ohhh... I thought you were cutting the slide from scratch, too.
