My Omega was wearing a set of Pachmyar grips. But it seemed like time for a change. (for the last few years, I've been replacing the Pachmyar and other rubber grips on my pistols with wood or composite material) I tried Black ETC/Frag VZ grips on another 1911 and liked them. So, this time I went with Black and Gray.

I still have one old Trooper with Pachmyars and a couple of Smith N-frames with Hogue Impact absorbing grips.
Most of the others are wood.
Does anyone here know if Pachmyar grips were original equipment on the Springfield/Peter Stahl Omegas?
I've seen many pictures of Omegas with Pachmyar grips, but some are pictured with nice wood grips.
