Bullets 9mm (355 Diameter) 124 Grain Jacketed Hollow Point

Remington 500 pack 124 grain JHP 9mm bullets are on sale at Midway. If you compare, that is within a couple of bucks of plated bullets like Berry's or Ranier. For 11 cents a bullet, you may as well shoot the real thing and not have to worry about plating :yesway:. Do a Google search for coupon codes. There was a $10 one out there last week which should cover a lot of the shipping.

I just noticed that deal earlier this morning, when responding to another post. Too bad all of my 9mm load work was done with the Hornady 124gr FMJ Encapsulated. :(

Still, the bullets I'm using are only $.12/ea, when they are in stock. Midsouth has them right now, if I needed any.

I'll have to remember Montana Gold, going to need some 147s for subsonics before long.

I miss the good old days when a man could run up to Star Ammunition and pick up bullets for less then $60 per 1k.

Graf & Son's has Berry's plated hp's 124 gr for $86.00 shipped. Sorry but this does not seem like a very good deal. $108.00 ( without shipping) is not a couple of bucks different than $86.00.

good point. Montana gold is the same price as Berry's as long as you buy a case and are FMJ.
Further investigation shows the hollow point may be the way to go on these, that way the metal jacket fully encloses the rear of the bullet and no lead is exposed to powder.

    9mm plated pistol bullets

Comparing apples to apples, Berry's 124gr JHP off their own website are $26.51 per 250. Taken times two, the cost is $53.02 for 500 compared to the $54 Midway price for real JHP bullets. That's how I arrived at "a couple bucks." Clearly, if you'd rather load plated bullets, Graf's has the better deal. There are several good deals posted here :yesway:

Take a loot at Rocky Mountain Reloading. Good prices and service. By the time you pay shipping and handling on the Midway 9mm, $133 per 1000. RMR offers 124 gr Gold Dot HP pulls for $130 per 1000, shipping included. Several purchases with RMR. Quick delivery good product. Bought their pulls before and only a few had even noticeable marks.
