Glock Issue

Ok here we go I have a glock 22c It seems to be having a feed issue every so often when you rack the slide it sticks and will not rack. I want to know if anyone else has ever had this issue and if so what did it take to fix

Make sure that you are fully racking the slide. Pull it all the way back and then let it go into battery on it's own. Also make sure that you aren't overloading the mags. A lot of Glock mags I've had will do this if they have one round too many in them.

If if keeps happening, take it to a Glock armorer or send it into Glock...

The springs seem to be in good shape.

Is the slide being held up by a round being chambered or the slide catch? Hmmm

Agree with an above post about making sure that you retract the slide fully to the rear and completely release it allowing it to slam into battery. If this doesn't work, make sure you are fully seating the magazine.

Ohh... If I understand you correctly, I'm not sure what it could be? Maybe the recoil spring is slipping off it's perch somehow?

So it is sticking when the slide is pulled all the way back?

How far have you taken the gun down? Maybe the slide release is not seated properly... Does it stick the same way every time?

It does it when it is extracting a round from the chamber.

thanks to everyone for all your input I stripped it all the way down put it back together and now it cycles fine.

before i stripped it down i tried all 3 mags and it did it with all of them it was just a round or 2 each time

Didn't think it would help but it was the easiest and most obvious choice to start with.

It was my first thought as well, still not sure what the issue was but it seems to be worked out will know for sure when i get another day off.
