The wife and I were doing our weekly grocery shopping at Wal-mart. So I went by sporting goods, they had some 9mm 3 federal bulk packs and maybe 6 Winchester boxes of 50. I told him I'd take the 3 bulk packs, $21.37 a box. He said ill sell you one box. I have to save the rest for in the morning so there is some when the other people come in. I was shocked because the only thing limited was .22 one box per day. 3 boxes for all others he finally sold me two bulk packs. I still don't see what the big deal was unless he was saving it for someone. He also said they only put out half and keep the other half in the back in the cabinet. Has only one else heard this?

A manager at my local store said that they were going to attempt this tactic of splitting shipments in half to give those who can't get ammo in the mornings a chance to get it in the evenings. As far as I know, my store never did get it done.

    Hey Ya'll....
Just left the Wally Shack on Rockville, they have boxes of Winchester 9mm and Federal 40cal. The salesman said he has some boxes in back to stock, but didn't know what was in them, and the manager has them lock up back there..... so maybe more cool stuff.

What was shipping for ammo before December? I've never bought ammo from Midway but had some reminders sent to me. I did the same thing with canceling my order when I saw the shipping cost.

Below are the shipping costs for an order I placed late last year. I have always thought their shipping charges where high but it seems they have bumped them up since last January.

    In Stock Product Subtotal: $37.98
    Postage, Handling & Insurance: $15.31
    Subtotal: $53.29
    In Stock Grand Total: $53.29

The Wal-Marts in Indianapolis (Keystone), Connersville, Lawrence, Merrillville, and Portland got Remington 225-round .22LR in on trucks this morning.

Indianapolis (Keystone), Plymouth, and South Bend got in the Winchester 1000-round .22LR this morning as well.

These should all still be there.

Cleared out the Tul .223 @ Greensburg Wal Mart. They still had Tul AK ammo, 6.8mm, and some .40.

Rural King Greensburg has literal craptons of Reminton 5.56. It's 14.99 ea, limit 6 per customer, but I counted six thousand round cases on the top shelf and probably another loose case on the lower shelves. They also had some 5.56 hollowpoints but they were like 24.99 a box.

I was there yesterday as well. The .308 was some sort of no-name stuff -- heck, I don't even recall a label on the plain box. If it were Federal Gold Medal Match, I'd have bought it. :lmfao:
