Found a decent deal on 22LR ammo, with an asterisk.

Someone gave me a box of this ammo before and my rifle seemed to like it, but I never found it at a decent price until today.

Anyways, here's the catch: the prices look great on all these, but if you go to checkout they hit you with an insane shipping cost of $23, give or take a few pennies. Combine that with a purchase limit of only 1 each for the 500 round bricks, and the price isn't so hot.

However, I think I figured out how to game the system. Add the maximum limit of each item linked (1x of the 500 rounds, 2x of the 250 rounds, and 5x of the 50 rounds) and you get a total of 1250 rounds, and the shipping stays basically the same.

For me, after shipping and tax it came out to $60.36 for the 1250 rounds, which is less than 5 cents a round.

Never ordered from these people before, but they had good reviews on ammoseek, so I gave it a chance. Now just to see if they actually send the order, or cancel it. I didn't find anything on the website saying I couldn't add the maximum limit on multiple quantities, though, so we'll see. :)

Well, I was starting to feel slightly nervous this morning when I still hadn't seen a shipping notification or any other emails from them, but lo and behold, a box showed up this morning with all 1250 rounds there as promised. :woot: Not bad for having just ordered it Thursday morning.

Anyways, their website now shows the 50-round boxes out of stock, but you can still add 1x of the 500 round brick and 2x of the 250 rounds bricks and get 1,000 rounds for $52.76 shipped, which is still a reasonable deal for this ammo, at least from what I've seen.
