Geissele SuperDuty barrel green? Pic

I notice that on one of my SuperDuty’s the barrel is green in the light and on closer look also without a light, just not as noticeable. It looks like some type of coating? One barrel is and the other is other is not? Might send Geissele a message asking.

That is weird. I'll take a look at mine later. But my SD is green so it would be a good match

Yeah, probably the parkerizing has absorbed some grease. Pretty common in military arms.

I did end up looking at mine. It looks fairly similar, maybe slightly less green. But very sparkly.

Phosphate. Crystallin structure and porous. Holds oils well.
