Greenfield Daily Reporter - Gander Mountain presents plans for a new store near Home Depot


GREENFIELD — Outdoor equipment and lifestyle retailer Gander Mountain has filed construction plans for a Greenfield store.
According to plans dated Sept. 17 and filed with the city planning department, the St. Paul, Minn.-based company is seeking to build a 45,600-square-foot store with 36,250 square feet of retail space just north of Home Depot at approximately the 2100 block of North Barrett Drive in Greenfield.

From the amount of traffic on the interstate at i70 the location is great for them. The area from mount comfort rd to greenfield east is up for lots of logistics (warehouse) upgrades in the next few years. The local MEGA LOW MART sell lots of ammo and sporting goods.

I would rather have seen a cabela's or bass pro, BUT ill take what I can get. Looks like the last reason I have to go towards castleton is GONE!!!!!
