Was looking for some 7x57mm Mauser ammo and wasn't having much luck. Found one box of Winchester 175 grain soft points.

Picked up a set of nice dies off of Fleabay and some bullets but couldn't find any brass.

Got to reading about forming 7x57mm out of .270 Winchester brass. Sounded very straightforward and I was quickly able to source some .270 brass for a reasonable price.

Still waiting on a trim die I ordered but I did cut three of the cases, tonight, form them with my sizing die and trimmed them by hand. Seated a bullet to check neck tension. Everything went real quick and smooth.

My Lyman manual says a case length of 2.235"
