Has anyone tried the ez rail also known as the tick for their 92fs and has it performed as intended with a light without marring the finish on the frame where it mounts?

They advertise that it doesn't scratch your gun's finish but I would like to hear from actual user feedback before i commit to ordering one.

Negative, but I’ve heard decent things about it.

I have a Surefire MR11 mount on my Elite, and while it’s not a “quick release” option, my research found it to be the sturdiest option. They’re not made anymore so you’ll have to find a used one. They’ll set you back about $100 or so on average, so you need to decide if Surefire quality is worth twice what the EZ Rail costs.

I remember we found an ex Police gun on a website being sold with one.

Lots of "wiggle" in the one I have, enough that I removed it.
It may work good enough for a light if a shifting beam doesn't bother you.
    IMHO, junk but YMMV.
Thanks for the response i was hoping to find definite feedback before buying one, i will probably not now.
