Dr Oz wants to debate Fauci?

I realize this guy wants to run for office, but he’s also in debt to Oprah, who is clearly in one corner. Why is he challenging Fauci (blessed be his name)?

I live in PA now, so I see the commercials for the Senate seat. It is a very crowded field right now, and it is obvious that there are other candidates with more money behind them. I would guess that the simple explanation is that it is an attempt to stand out from the crowd and generate backers.

Throwing sand under his campaign tires, doesn't seem to be getting much traction

IMO he shouldn't be anywhere near Fauci, people might start to see the similarities between the two ambitious quacks

Dr. Oz has apparently scared somebody with money. I'm now seeing a lot of negative ads accusing him of being a closet socialist, etc. Unfortunately, they are sponsored by a PAC so I have no idea who is really behind it. It's just interesting to watch the ebb and flow of the ads to get an idea of what is going on in a campaign.
