Does anyone ever think HK will ever restart up production on the HK P7M8? I was reading about it online, and seeing how there are so much good feed back from so many people, LTCH holders and cops alike, it makes me wonder why H&K wouldn't make them again, I mean i know they make limited runs and such, but yeah. Also what was it that made them discontinue normal production of the P7 anyway?:dunno:

I certainly hope they do. I've never had the privilage to own one, but a buddy of mine in Florida does, and I used to shoot it at ever opportunity. They are, in a word, amazing. I've never held a handgun in such high esteem as I do that one.

Yeah I hope they do restart production of these one day. I have never owned one, but like what I have read about them, and also like how they feel in the hand. I have had a chance to handle both the P7 and P7M8 but never the pleasure of shooting or owning one. Hoping to change that sometime soon. I personally would like to find a hard chromed P7 or P7M8.

i agree.... you are hard pressed to find anything bad said about them... why would they stop making them? even if they had to charge slightly higher i am sure there would be many people that would still purchase them.

Too expensive to manufacture (2.5 times more). Unfortunately, you will never see them again.

Also consider the P7M13. Same as the M8, but 5 more rounds in the mag (but wider grips).

Unfortunately they are not cheap. I think I paid $1500 and $1800 for mine M13s. One was a T&E piece, so it is a lot more rare (I have odd tastes).

Great point. Try getting parts from those guys. Terrible. That is the one of several _huge_ negatives with that company. Love some of their guns though (P30, USP, P7 line)....

Yep. Remember this is a company whose US marketing plan is "You suck, and we hate you." :):

I have an M13 you can buy. It's near mint- 95% or so. It's great but I need the money for other things...
