there was a 2a walk through indy that got organized here actually, and im pretty sure people were carrying rifles. i think the organizer asked for them to not be loaded just as a safety on top of a safety. but if you can carry it, you can surely carry it loaded.

    youre welcome.

    Are you feeling OK?

This is somebody else under his username isn't it??

Your not your normal smarta$$ self...

    Back to the OP!!

You can carry a long gun anywhere you want, I don't suggest a single point and BDUs walking thru town but as a kid we walked from home to where we were hunting with longguns.

BDUs= battle dress uniforms, in reference to those worn by our military...

as to single point, the military makes single-point turns when marching.

I carried my ar in a single point on the walk we had downtown. There were also several other INGO members that carried theirs. More than likely people would freak if they saw you with it and call the police, but yes it is legal.
