Can an iPhone 5 be fixed?

My wife dropped her iPhone and cracked the screen.
Is there anywhere that fixes that locally.
I am in Bedford, but I am thinking that we will need to drive a bit no matter what.
There is nothing here.

Yes they can be repaired. If you were close I could do it really cheap. Cost about $100. But you can go to other places for repair

I've done a few fairly major repairs to iMacs, lately. I enjoy fixing stuff that is overpriced, and seemingly engineered to be really difficult to fix.

I'm glad to hear your repair went well. I didn't trust myself to repair my screen, so I had Apple do it. (I had to go in for a repair on my laptop, anyway, so I just bit the bullet and let them do both.) Two months after the new screen, I dropped it in a glass of water. That was an expensive lesson.
