With the price of 5.45 ammo so low, I'm thinking about getting a 5.45 AR upper.
Anyone have one? Comments on performance?
Who has them in stock and how much?

I've got a S&W M&P15R chambered in 5.45. Several hundred rounds through it will no issues. Waiting on a 5.56 upper from Del-Ton just in case the Eastern Block ammo supply dries up. The really cheap 5.45 is corrosive, so you have to make sure you keep the gun clean. 5.45 rifle is great - a lot of fun to shoot at about 1/2 or 1/3 the cost of 5.56.
