I used to reload Speer 125 gr soft point in my S&W 9mm, worked GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

I have no bad experiences with soft points to discourage you, but prefer the standard hollow points or FMJ to reduce/eliminate the exposed soft lead. What are you looking to do with 'em, specifically?

I have been loading a lot of 125 gr lead bullets in 9mm. The only issue I have had is that the OAL needs to be 1.10 - 1.15". If not the bullet does not allow the slide to fully seat. Also they tend to shave off fillings if the cases are not open large enough for them to seat properly.

This is a good way to shoot cheap.
