I am looking to get a H&K P2000SK .40S&W. I was wondering how everyone likes them. Also what variant; DA/SA or LEM?

    Thanks,
    Brandan

I almost bought a P2000....then I held a P30. I realize that the P30 is only 9mm, but rumors are later this year it will come in a .40

I carry my USPc .40 variant 1 daily for the last 10 years or so.. No complaints, no issues, no need for me to look at anything else.

I'm in Brownsburg as well, if you would like to give it a try I could probably meet you at Eagle Creek Sunday..

I am a member at Martinsville conservation club, so the chances of me going to Eagle Creek are pretty rare, however the offer is greatly appreciated. What part of Brownsburg are you in? And why did you initially choose H&K 10 years ago?

USPs are great, USP compacts are great, I'll bet that a shrunk down version of a pistol based on the USP compacts is awesome too.

A good friend of mine has a USPc and he seems to like it just as much as his Glocks, but it is just way to big for me to conceal. I am 5'3" 123lbs. It is hard for me to even conceal a subcompact, left alone a compact. :draw:

North side, 800ish.. Out of city limits have a Burg address but it actually county.

I went shopping for a new pistol with an open mind, rented various range mules, the USP felt the best in my hand and was most accurate for me so I bought a new one.

FWIW, I usually carry it cross drawn (left side) in a Galco RH holster because it conceals the best for me with that combo.

I am not familiar with this type of carrying. So your pistol sits at roughly 10 o'clock with the grip facing clockwise I assume?

yes, you got it.. Wearing the RH holster on the left cants the top of the weapon slightly to the rear, keeping the grip tucked into your body better concealing the it.
