Considering having a stock duplicated; I can supply the blank and do the inletting & finish work. I just need somebody to do the vast majority of the rough-shaping... I know I can send it off to have it done but most "internet stock makers" want a few hundred dollars just for the duplicator work. I really don't want to have $600 in a stock. Worst case scenario I'll just have to wait until I can make my own duplicator and do it myself...

Do you just need a replacement or do you want to use a specific piece of wood?
Either, but it's for a not-so common gun that I doubt many makers have a pattern for. There is a slightly more common version that would likely share the same outer profile but different inletting.

Don't necessarily need to use my supplied wood, but if they're making a stock on a duplicator I'm not sure if it matters if I provide the wood or they provide it.

Sir, it may be helpful to post the Make and Model of the firearm.

People have all kinds of crap sitting around in boxes and closet corners.

Seems like a fella with a stock duplicating machine could clean up, what with all the hideously ugly plastic stocks that need to be replaced with wood.
