Antique or reproduction flintlock pistol please help…

I have an opportunity to buy this pistol. These photos are all I have to go on. I think it’s a reproduction but I’m not confident and I don’t want to let a piece of history slip by. Based on the photos what do you all think? Pistol is in Virginia.

The lock and lock plate look cast to me, which would indicate a non functional gun.
I'd bet it a wall hanger modern repro

Looked again, the frizen looks to have a seem on it, indicating two pieces....originals were one piece.

All I can say is if the seller is advertising it as original the seller is a crook.

Looks pretty new to me, a 200 and change year old gun looks more weathered, particularly the wood.

The seam on the frizzen tells me it's a non functional display gun, save your money, and try to find a kit gun, from Dixie Gun works, or go to Friendship, when the next meet is, Good luck!

Yea, that's 100% a non firing replica. You'd be lucky if it's even 30 years old. Run away from it.
