I know the moly coat is for lube but I've also heard it can be corrosive to some barrels. Also, which is a cleaner round between the Golden Tiger and the military Wolf classic? Any input is appreciated.

My opinion: Golden Tiger is a much more consistent and cleaner ammo than Wolf, but still pretty dirty.

As for Moly being corrosive, yes and no. It is a pain to removed from barrels, it loves moisture, etc... Not super corrosive like corrosive ammo primer salts, but still can get bad if unchecked. All in all, no reason to try to accellerate a pretty much already effective and un-hot-rod-able round. In other words, dont horse with it.

Now handloading 7.62x39, while considered folly by most due to ammo cost, the shooter can find some REALLY nice accuracy increases by handloading for their comblocs! :)
