    Wow, troll much?

I generally carry a full sized Kimber TLE II concealed, though I do occasionally OC it because it is too pretty to hide. I carry at about 5 o'clock and have only been spotted once - by a fellow leader who carries regularly as well.

I wish I had the physical structure that permitted 5 o'clock carry. I have, even when I was skinny, what most refer to as a "huge ass". It makes shopping for pants problematic at best and carrying anything past 3 o'clock uncomfortable at best.

When I first got my 1911 I carried it all the time in a shoulder rig. It seemed to work. After getting my Glock 30 it be came a safe queen. Then when I got my Glock 36 the 30 has been sitting in the safe. I really like shooting both of them. I just don't like to carry them.

I tried to CC my 1911 Compact 9mm and I always felt it was too big, too bulky & too heavy. If I am going to open carry, it would work. However, I prefer CC and dig sub-compact 9's for that duty.

I use a Comptac Infidel IWB holster with my Springfield Loaded and its pretty nice.

Talkin about Springfields. Wished I'd had $250 yesterday. I'd have screwed Cabelas out of an O/D m1911A1 I watched a guy sell them for that. If he'd have taken a check I'da made him an extra few bucks.:xmad: I gotta learn to keep some cash with me.

i carry a full size 1911 Government Model every day...in the summer, i wear a "wife beater" under a loose t-shirt and a nice IWB or AIWB holster. The wife beater keeps the leather and grips from rubbing my sides raw. It also helps keep perspiration from rusting out the grip screws or anythng that might touch my body...nothing is better than a 1911 with a little holster shine on it from age

    GONZO!!!

^^^ Yep. This has been carried for 13 years. Has had the worn barrel replaced by Springfield at no cost. NEVER a failure of any kind. Before that it was a Browning HP. Both carried in a Milt Sparks Summer Special II IWB. Kinda has a lot of holster shine on it though.

I'm 6'2" tall and it's not a problem. A good friend of mine is maybe 6" shorter and also carries one with no problem. He just had to alter the position on his belt due to a different structure.

I carry my full size 1911 every day, and only those who know I carry know that I have it. These pictures aren't great, but they'll give you an idea. And no, you can't see the gun in the first picture - it's just how the shirt fell.
