      Just noticed Cabelas has an instant $30 rebate on all Nikon rim fire scopes.Not sure if it is just Cabels or a Nikon rebate.The base 4x32 is $79.99,that would free up some money for some good rings.A couple are BDC models and you mentioned tactical in your OP.I think the rebate ends 4-21-13.Good...

      Browning BL22

      I bought mine new several years ago and still love it.Don't think it will ever leave my family.In good shape even used ones are expensive.My dad said I was nuts for spending that kind of money on a .22 but now I could triple my money.

      I agree with BBI's.Plus you have 6 caliber choices opposed to only 2 with the Scout and less than half the price.Don't get me wrong,I love the Ruger Scout and would like to have one some day.

      Sorry to hear this.I live in Niles and sometimes buy ammo there.I would think it is someone that knows them.Its a father and son shop and the fathers home is about 30 feet from the gunstore.Said it happened between 4 and 5am in the paper.Most likely they were on vacation or someone has some big...

      I'm up north by the state line.I'm still fishing through the ice in IN and MI.A couple more days and it will probably over.Still have my after dark crappie spot producing and have a couple sets of boxsprings and 2x12's at the ready when the shore ice gets to thin.

      I would shoot it.It is the most common 1894 model.I don't recall seeing a factory butt pad like that but it may be.Either way its a great gun,congrats on your purchase.

      Gun Collections

      I have a collection of Colt Diamondbacks and Pythons.I do shoot them once in a while though,I bought a few of them new and shot them a lot at first,who knew they would be worth so much years later.It is hard to find a good deal on one now unless the seller really isn't educated on them.
